The Power Edge EZ is a plug in module that maximizes engine
efficiency by monitoring the RPM, timing, turbo boost pressure and
fueling parameters to determine both fueling and timing
enhancements for the Bosch fuel injection pump. The Power Edge EZ
was developed with the towing application in mind. The power and
torque produced by the Power Edge EZ does not exceed the truck's
power train design.
The re-mapping of the timing and fueling parameters is done via the CAN-BUS communication system. The CAN-BUS protocol is used to communicate between the Cummins Engine Control Module (ECM) and the Bosch fuel injection pump. All data sent from the Power Edge EZ is within the limits of the Bosch fuel injection pump. This enables smooth and predictable power delivery with out compromising integrity. This increase in power does not cause an increase in exhaust smoke from a stock engine. The Power Edge EZ will also allow maximum fueling at full turbo boost. The Power Edge EZ provides an additional 65 rear wheel horsepower, an additional 185 foot pounds of torque and installs in minutes. Simply plug the Power Edge connectors into the ECM Data Link connection and MAP sensor. There's no need to unplug the Bosch fuel injection pump connector. The Power Edge EZ is completely weatherproof and mounts under the hood.

1998.5 - 2002
The Power Edge Comp combines the brawn of the Power Edge and the
brains of the Power Edge EZ for unparalleled performance for your
24V Cummins. Timing and fueling enhancements are controlled via
CAN-BUS through the Data Link and by connecting directly onto the
Bosch fuel injection pump. The Power Edge COMP features five power
levels with power gains from 40 to 130 hp. Each of the five power
levels will also have an independent five level adjustable
responsiveness setting. With this feature one can choose the
optimum balance between responsiveness and low boost smoke control
no matter other power modifications have been made to the engine.
The TST PowerMax

1998.5
- 2002
TST has developed 3 add-on computers which take over control of
the injection pump for the ultimate torque increase. The
PowerMax™1 has a starting power level of 60 horsepower and 160
lb-ft of torque above stock at the ground. PowerMax™2 adds 90
horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque at the ground. PowerMax™3
adds 120 horsepower and 360 lb-ft torque at the ground (expect
about 10% less with automatics). These add-ons take about 30 to
60 minutes to install and normally have no affect on tank
mileage. Manual transmissions work with either PowerMax or
PowerMax™2 power levels however automatics may require the aid
of a valve body upgrade kit for the PowerMax™2 level. With
PowerMax™3, automatics transmission will require valve body
enhancements, and the manual transmissions will require a clutch
upgrade.

1998.5
- 2002
TST's PowerMax™3 Adjustable offers 10 different power levels
that can be adjusted under power on the fly. The adjustments are
made with a remote control that plugs into the PowerMax™
computer so that the driver can pick the power he/she wants. The
remote has a numerical L.E.D. readout that shows the number 0
thru 9. Level 0 equals stock power, 1 = 15 hp and 40 lb-ft above
stock at the ground with each step up equaling another 15
horsepower and 40 torque at the ground. The adjustable PowerMax™3
lets the driver tailor the power to his/her needs and the
vehicles ability to handle heat and torque. Level 4 is equal to
PowerMax™, level 6 is equal to PowerMax™2 and level 9 is
equal to PowerMax™3.

1998.5
- 2002
The PowerMax™3 with Remote with Digital Gauges allows the
driver to have the same ten power levels as with the previously
mentioned remote, but has the added safety and convenience of
built in digital pyrometer and boost gauges. One of its biggest
features is the monitoring and controlling of the exhaust gas
temperatures (EGT's). It will automatically reduce TST's
additional power and if necessary, go on to reducing stock power
until the EGT's are back to the user selected temperature. This
feature could help prevent damage to the engine caused by
excessive EGT's. The user can also turn off the temperature
control, for those who use their PowerMax units in competitions
such as sled pulls and drag racing.

1998.5
- 2002
TST PowerMax™3 with ten power level remote with digital
readout for pyrometer, oil temperature, boost, and power level
has the same features of the previously mentioned remote but
allows the user to select exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and oil
temperature limit on the fly for automatic power control at
maximum temps.

SuperChip Programmer.
This hand held programmer offers 70hp and about 100 ft lbs of torque with simple plug in-upload -unplug technology. Gains in fuel mileage are around 3 mpg and offer diagnostic capabilities once a program has been uploaded. Call for details (late availability).

Red line Extreme Competion Fuel Box
The
Redline Box does what no other performance box does. It takes complete control
of the fuel solenoid and makes 60 more horsepower and 97 foot pounds more torque
than competition boxes at 2800 RPM and allows the engine to rev all the way to
4000 RPM, with NO FUEL CUTBACK! Yes better valve springs are suggested with this
product. It is offered only as an “Off Road Product” and a waiver is
requested from the end user.
What makes this box unique is that it completely ignores all sensors on the
truck except throttle position, completely ignores the ECM ( Engine Control
Module ) and ignores the computer on top of the injection pump. This means that
when any of these ignored devices tries to make the truck stop running or defuel,
it can’t happen. This means “mad” ECMs and the like are also ignored and
are not needed and can’t offer any benefit. Because the truck’s fuel system
can’t cut back fuel, as it does with the ECM running the truck, the Redline is
in complete control of fueling and therefore delivers FULL FUELING all the way
up to the user preset maximum RPM. This means we can guarantee to empty the
rotor for each and every injection event, and therefore deliver all the fuel
available to the injector.
The Redline Box offers push button menu control of all its features. The
operator can preset the percentage of full fueling desired, the maximum RPM
allowed, from 3200 to 4000, in 100 RPM increments. The Redline also has a
“Maximum Values” menu option which allows the user to see the highest RPMs,
Exhaust Gas Temperatures and Boost ( up to 55psi ) attained since last reset.
This is a great way to compare and or document your last pull or drag race run.
Even though it uses the truck’s sensors to record these numbers, it does NOT
use any of these sensors’ parameters for fueling control. Other menu options
allow the user to choose what is displayed on the flourescent, easy to
read screen, such as RPM, amount more time than stock we are holding the fuel
solenoid closed and several voltage checks for diagnostics.
1998 - 2002 24V Injectors
All horsepower levels are approximate increases compared to stock injectors. Other fuel and air flow modifications will change your expected power increases. Smoke levels are relative to turbo and other air flow modifications.
These values are listed primarily
to allow customers to compare performance levels of different injectors, so
they can better choose the right ones for their needs. A set of 370
injectors may produce much higher smoke levels on a stock turbo compared to
a set of twins. But for the same turbo/air flow setup a set of 215's will
produce "lower" smoke levels compared to 370's which will produce
"medium to high" levels for the same setup.
