1. All Pro Street Diesel trucks must be licensed and insured.
2. Engines will be restricted to 6 or 8 cylinder compression ignition engines. All vehicles will be equipped with an O.E.M. engine available in a 1 ton or less from the factory. The use of compressed fuels will be prohibited. Dry ice or water introduced into the combustion chamber will be prohibited.

Turbos must bolt to the factory style manifold and must be a factory style
turbocharger. Each vehicle will be equipped with a single turbo only, unless
offered as O.E.M. equipment. If
twins are offered as original equipment, the turbos must remain the OEM factory
turbos. Otherwise, Turbos will be limited to a 2.90” intake diameter
size.

Trucks running a turbo with a 2.51” inducer bore to 2.9” will require that
Standard transmissions must have either a steel bell housing with a
3/16” block plate or an SFI clutch blanket that completely covers the bell
housing 360`. It must attach to the
block and extend rearward onto the transmission.
Complete bell housing must be covered.
Automatics must use a full SFI transmission blanket that attaches to the
block and extend rearward over the torque converter and protects 360` or run SFI
approved shields. Trucks running a
turbo with a 2.5” inducer bore or smaller will not be required to run
transmission blankets, shields or a steel bellhousing.
5. All vehicles will be equipped with an exhaust system that exits behind the drivers’ compartment. Trucks will either be equip with smoke stacks or will have exhaust pipe from the tailpipe pointing upward, coming a minimum of 1” above the box and fastened securely to the truck. Two 3/8 diameter bolts must be placed in a cross pattern within 1" (one inch) of each other and as close to the final turbo as practical in the exhaust pipe.
6. Diesel fuel must not enter the cab.
7. Dual wheeled trucks will be allowed.

Hitch point is to the rear most point of the truck, rigid in all directions and
a maximum of 24" from the top of the hitching device to the ground. No part
of the hitching device to exceed the center of the rear axle. No bumper hitches
are allowed.
9. Drive shaft hoops must be installed on all trucks. Drive shaft covers must be constructed of at least 1/4 inch steel, that will safely contain the “U” joints and the ends of each shaft. All shields must be securely mounted to the vehicle.
10. All drivers must wear a DOT approved seat belt and a minimum Snell 2000 approved helmet.

The use of traction or ladder bars as a supplement to factory suspension will be
permitted. They must be a minimum of 60 inches long.

12. No weights are allowed forward of the truck bed.
13. Tires must be stamped DOT and not cut or shaved in anyway. Tires must be a maximum of 35 inches in diameter and not to exceed a tread width of 14 ˝ inches per tire and a maximum rim width of 14 inches.

The overall width of the vehicle shall not exceed 102 inches measured side wall
to side wall.
15. All trucks must have working brakes on all four wheels.

Any changes or modifications of the rules will be done with the unanimous vote
of the class rep and 2 elected tech people from the class with approval of the
executive of G.L.T.P.A. or C.O.T.P.A in whole, depending on the organization
making the change.
17. No truck may hook in two different divisions at the same event.
18. All trucks are subject to a tech inspection at any time during an event by a Track Official.
19. There will be no demo pulls allowed. All vehicle must conform to the rules set forth herein from their first pull onwards.
20. Vehicle weight will be set at 8200 lbs with a 1% variable.
21. Hitches will remain with the vehicle. The sharing of hitches will be prohibited. All hitches will be florescent orange in color.
22. All Drivers side windows will remain in the open position before and during the pull.
